The National Association of Independent Schools is the central voice for American independent schools representing approximately 1,400 schools. It is an internationally respected organization providing resources and developing best practice standards that are modelled the world over. NAIS developed Model Core Standards reflecting the core elements of its schools and their operation, a copy of which is posted here. NAIS has formally recognized CESI’s accreditation procedures and we are a member of the NAIS Commission on Accreditation.
